MDC Encourages Public to Use Caution Amidst Suspected Avian Influenza Outbreak

MDC is currently investigating whether highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) is behind numerous reports of sick and dead waterfowl across the state. The public should not handle dead birds and report any sightings to http://short.mdc.mo.gov/4KD.
