Baptist and United Methodist Churches Combine VBS

Together the Jamesport Baptist and Methodist churches are proud to announce another successful VBS. This year VBS was held at the Jamesport Baptist Church Monday, June 7th thru Wednesday, June 9th. The theme this year was "Life is Wild...God is Good." There were approximately 50 students counting teen helpers in attendance each day. A program was held Wednesday evening where the students performed some of the songs they had learned throughout the days. At 5:30 a hotdog supper was served to wrap up VBS. Each day VBS participants collected an offering to give to a family or charity in need. This year they decided their offering would go to a local cancer patient. A huge “thank you” to both the Jamesport Methodist and Baptist Churches and their members for all of their support.
