MDC hosts free Family Outdoors Day activities on Sept. 24 at Lee's Summit

MDC, Ducks Unlimited, and Nathan’s Catch will host Family Outdoor Day in conjunction with National Hunting and Fishing Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area. Staff and volunteers will help visitors with activities such as fishing, archery target shooting, and throwing the atlatl dart.
