Active Aging Resource Center - October 17, 2024

The menu for the Active Aging Resource Center for the week of October 21-25: 

Monday – chicken fillet sandwich, pickled beets, peas, mixed fruit; 

Tuesday – meatloaf, baked potatoes, carrots, hot rolls, fruit fluff; 

Wednesday – chicken fajitas with tortillas, seasoned black beans, Mexican corn, pineapple; 

Thursday – cheeseburger on bun, seasoned potatoes, mixed vegetables, cinnamon applesauce; 

Friday – smoked sausage, sauerkraut, cauliflower, mandarin oranges; 

Salad bar every Wednesday 

BINGO every Tuesday, 10:00 

Chair yoga every Wednesday, 10:00 p.m. 

Game night every Thursday, 4-7:00 p.m. 

October 15 - first day of Medicare open-enrollment period 

October 17 - Board of directors’ meeting at 10:00 a.m. 

October 18 - DCHD blood pressure checks 11-12:00 

It’s here! Medicare Open Enrollment has begun. From October 15th through December 7th, you can review and change your Medicare Prescription Drug or Medicare Advantage Plan coverage for 2025. 

We are here to help. Call Deanna at 660-663-2828 for an appointment or a worksheet. We will host enrollment events on November 6th at the Pattonsburg Multi-Purpose Center and on November 19th at Jamesport City Hall. Both events will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and no appointment is necessary.
