Active Aging Resource Center - November 14, 2024

The menu for the Active Aging Resource Center for the week of November 18 - 22: 

Monday – Philly cheesesteak sandwich, pickled beets, peas, mixed fruit; 

Tuesday – oven fried chicken, buttered carrots, parsley potatoes, hot rolls, mandarin oranges; 

Wednesday - ham and beans, potatoes with peppers and onions, cole slaw, cornbread, cherry crisp; 

Thursday – taco salad, Mexican rice, tortilla chips, strawberries; 

Friday – turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, broccoli salad, cranberries, pumpkin pie; 

Salad bar every Wednesday 

BINGO every Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. 

Chair yoga every Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. 

Game night every Thursday, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. 

Nov. 19 - Enrollment event at Jamesport City Hall from 9:00 to 12:00 

Nov. 21 - Board of directors meeting, 10:00 a.m. 

Nov. 22 - Thanksgiving dinner, serving 11:00-12:15 

Nov. 28-29 - Closed for Thanksgiving 

Join us on Friday, November 22, for our annual Thanksgiving lunch. We are serving the traditional menu along with pumpkin pie! Dine-in or carry-out from 11:00-12:15. Free-will donation and open to the public. 

If you want to carry-out, please drive through the alley, and we will deliver right to your vehicle. The alley is one-way, so enter from the north along Grand Street.

Medicare Open Enrollment is going on. Through December 7th, you can review and change your Medicare Prescription Drug or Medicare Advantage Plan coverage for 2025.

We will host enrollment events on November 19th at Jamesport City Hall. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and no appointment is necessary.
